SN Nuclearelectrica S.A. informs the shareholders and the investors that the report on the third quarter of the year 2013 is made available to the public via the website www.nuclearelectrica.ro of SN Nuclearelectrica S.A. starting with the date of 11 November 2013.<\/p>\n

The comparative analysis of the financial results related to the first 9 months of the fiscal year 2013 with those of the previous comparable period (9 months of 2012) indicates some significant growth in terms of turnover, operating profit and EBITDA.<\/p>\n

During the first 9 months of the year 2013, SN Nuclearelectrica S.A. recorded a net profit of 331.2 million lei as compared to the previous period of 2012 when it reported a net loss of 34 million lei.<\/p>\n

As regards the operation efficiency, during the first 9 months of the year 2013, the Cernavoda NPP\u2019s Unit 1 produced an amount of energy of 4,616,772 MWh at a capacity factor of 100,17%, while Unit 2 generated an amount of 4,077,169 MWh at a capacity factor of 88.40% (sustained by the fact that, in the second quarter of the year 2013, Unit 2 entered the planned outage program) with no impact on the plant\u2019s nuclear safety, staff, population or environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
